About Us

History

Founded in 2007, Hyperion Power Generation Inc. is a private company formed to commercialize the Hyperion Power Module (HPM), an advanced technology mini reactor. Based on intellectual property developed by scientists at Los Alamos National Laboratory and leveraging forty years of technological advancement, the HPM was designed to fill a previously unmet need for a physically small and transportable power source that is safe, clean, sustainable, and cost-efficient.

About the License

The United States’ Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) has provided an exclusive license to Hyperion Power Generation (HPG) for the Hyperion Power Module (HPM) technology. Under the Technology Transfer Program, HPG has the commercialization rights to introduce, license, manufacture, market and distribute the original HPM reactor technology invented at LANL.
